1. Etymology: Named for its similarity to Homoeocladia celaenoae, 2. Diagnosis: Homoeocladia with S-shaped areola openings, differing from H. celaenoae in having two rows of areolae along the peri-raphe zone, a hyaline line along edge of valve depression but no line of circular pores, sinuous openings also in the valve depression, and a weakly elevated keel crest, 3.
