1. Etymology: Named for the irregular infilling of the internal valve face, 2. Diagnosis: Valves lanceolate, differing from H. celaenoae in having irregularly infilled areolae on valve face and a prominent keel crest; differing from Homoeocladia sinuosa in having a row of small pores along edge of valve depression and open sinuous areolae in peri-raphe zone, and from H. interrupta in lacking a longitudinal break in striae, 3.
