1. Etymology: Named for the type locality in Palau. , 2. Diagnosis: Large, linear valves with keel crest, costa along edge of valve depression, distinguished from Homoeocladia tarangensis most readily by the absence of pores along the peri-raphe zone and absence of single row of pores on apex but also areola density and length of exposed striae, 3.
